Excellent food, ambiance and location. Great pricing. Waiter was a bit too &ldquo;familiar&rdquo; with our group, however service was prompt and responsive.

Memories of India Kensington

I&rsquo;m writing this review a few months after visiting because I often wish I could still eat here.The food was lovely, we were tempted back three times during our stay!Our favourite was tandoori chicken which came with an amazing Indian spiced coleslaw, something Ive never had before and utterly delicious, alongside a tarka dal and a garlic naan.Portion sizes generous, flavour lovely and great staff. You can&rsquo;t go wrong. Didn&rsquo;t put on the &ldquo;hard sell&rdquo; like the place next door and was far superior.

I will first say the food in this restaurant was excellent.  I ordered the pork chop with fried artichokes and creamed spinach.  I was slightly surprised the sides were not included with the entree and were additional cost.  Which brings me to the main reason I must give a lower rating to my experience, it is the price tag.  The pork chop was &pound;46, i think.  My girlfriend ordered the ribeye at &pound;56, which again - did not include sides. I found the price of this meal a bit unreasonable and it just tainted the entire experience.  One can attain a proper good meal just about anywhere near the hotel.  It really felt like I&#39;d been punished for choosing to dine in.  Also, I was offered a glass of champagne at dinner which cost &pound;30 (for 1 glass!).  I wasn&#39;t informed of this, I found out when the bill came.  It may be worth mentioning, the champagne was also quite delicious.  I just may have appreciated a heads up that it would cost that much.  All in, about a &pound;200 for this meal. Can&#39;t say I felt good about this.  Lesson learned.  However, the staff were very nice.  My second grievance is the ambient music.  I did not find it very ambient.  This may seem trivial, but seriously -  why not just play classical music or something?  I found the department store pop music kind of distracting and sad.  Hope this review doesn&#39;t seem too harsh.  I was going for honest.  Thank you.

Delicious food and attentive service. Cosy atmosphere in the restaurant downstairs. Authentic Italian menu and attentive staff.

I booked at last time for celebrate my birthday dinner. The staff and waitress attended me like a King.  Excellent service and wonderfull food experience.  A moment to remember!  Thanks to Larissa and the rest of her staff.  Luis Otilio Martinez visiting London from Puerto Rico.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was tasty and very hot (in temperature).  Would go there again.

I found the food average  I ordered &agrave; chicken Korma and a naan ..I am disappointed
